This website was launched on 1 September 2011 by the Niagara Peninsula Branch (ON41) of the Federal Superannuates National Association operating as the National Association of Federal Retirees. We hope that it will become an important means of communication with FSNA members and other interested persons. This website is operated by the branch.
An FSNA member is a federal retiree who pays the membership dues to the association. The main pensioner must be receiving a federal pension as a result of him/her having worked for the Canadian government in some capacity in the Public Service, Canadian Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or as a federally appointed judge. The spouse of a pensioner, or his/her survivor, is qualified to become a member of FSNA.
If you wish to become a member, please contact us at (905) 937-2982 or at aareyes1931@gmail.com. You can also click here to download an application form, fill it out and mail to our National Office in Ottawa.
FSNA is a not-for-profit association dedicated to protecting and enhancing the pensions and benefits of federal retirees.
FSNA Niagara is one of the 84 branches across Canada. As of this writing, the total membership of the branch is about 1,300; Canada-wide, it is more than 175,000. FSNA Niagara is managed by a group of dedicated volunteers who are FSNA members. Other members volunteer to audit the financial records of the branch, chair special committees, greet members at meetings, phone members for meal reservations, perform the meal draws, announce special occasions and much more.
The Branch Executive would like to invite you to click on the tabs above to learn more about our branch, who we are and what we do. You might find some information interesting not only to FSNA members but also to all seniors in general. Some information may be revised as necessary.
